School Hours

Extension to the School Day from September 2022
In Spring 2022, the DfE set a new expectation that state funded mainstream schools should deliver a compulsory school week of at least 32.5 hours by September 2023. Following this, a consultation was held with our School Governing Body and our new hours have been agreed to ensure we are compliant with the new DfE guidelines.

The new times starting from Monday 5th September 2022 are as follows:

Doors open at 8:30am.

Doors close for registration at 8:45am.

School finishes at 3:15pm.

Reception class have a lunch break for 1 hour from 11.30am. All other year groups have a 50 minute lunch break.

Reception class have regular free flow outdoor play throughout the day and all other year groups have a 15 minute break during the morning session.
