School Organisation
At present there are seven year groups within the school (Reception and Years 1 to 6) organised into a mixture of single age range and mixed age range classes:
Foundation Stage
Reception class: Bronte
Key Stage 1
Year 1: Lister
Year 2: Hockney
Key Stage 2
Year 3: Butterfield
Year 4: Devonshire
Year 5: Priestley
Year 6: Macmillan
We aim to provide the maximum number of single age range classes as possible.
Whatever arrangements are made for the children, parents can be assured they are done with careful, professional, consideration of each child's needs, in order to raise standards and to maintain appropriate progress and continuity through the National Curriculum.

GOVERNING BODY
Our governors are a dedicated team of volunteers who are actively involved in the life and work of the school - they have many statutory duties. They are responsible for setting the budget, curriculum, collective worship, buildings (projects and maintenance), safeguarding, staff and Headteacher appointments and many other aspects of school life.
There are various types of Governor. Our school is a voluntary aided Church of England school, which means it is controlled and owned by the Church but seeks the ‘voluntary’ assistance, help and support of the local authority. Because we are a Church school, Foundation Governors have the majority on the Governing Body. They are appointed by the Diocese of Bradford from nominations from the Parochial Church Council of St. Mary's Church, Oxenhope. There is also a Local Authority (LA) Governor nominated as representing the council members of Bradford Metropolitan District Council.
Parent Governors are elected by a ballot system of all parents whose children attend Oxenhope C.E. Primary School. The Headteacher is a staff governor by default - the other staff governor is elected by a ballot of all staff.
We also currently have two associate governors who provide significant expertise on a range of issues.
Chair: Mr Anthony Bennett (Foundation Governor)
Vice-Chairs:
Mr David Ashcroft (LA Governor),
Mrs Fiona Bolam-Peel (Foundation Governor)
Ex-officio Diocesan Representative:
To be confirmed following retirement of Rev Ken Medhurst
Other Foundation Governors:
Mr Robert Whitaker, Mrs Fran Cameron, Mr Adrian Lloyd-Owen, Mr Richard Nichols, Mr Tony Matthews
Parent Governors:
Mrs Clare Raynard, Miss Julia Clarke, Mrs Jacky Ellis
Associate Members:
Mr Mike Hopkinson, Dr Mike Hughes
Staff Governors: Mrs Gillian Dyson, Mr Daniel Burns
